## Biography

Rogier Stoffers, ASC, is a Dutch cinematographer. He was born on 9 November 1961 in Utrecht and studied at Utrecht University and the Netherlands Film Academy.

He began his career in the Netherlands, collaborating with director Mike van Diem on films including *Character* (1997). After moving to the United States, he shot *Quills* (2000), *John Q.* (2002), *School of Rock* (2003), *Disturbia* (2007) and later films such as *No Strings Attached* (2011), *The Vow* (2012) and *The House with a Clock in Its Walls* (2018).

Stoffers has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on the HBO film *Hemingway & Gellhorn* (2012) and is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
