## Biography

Ron Bozman is an American film producer. He began working in the film industry in 1974 as production manager on *The Texas Chain Saw Massacre*. He later served as first assistant director on films including *The Muppets Take Manhattan* (1984), *Something Wild* (1986) and *Married to the Mob* (1988).

Bozman produced *Waiting for the Light* (1990) and *The Silence of the Lambs* (1991). He was executive producer on *Philadelphia* (1993) and produced or executive-produced later films including *The Ref* (1994), *Beloved* (1998), *Changing Lanes* (2002), *The Stepford Wives* (2004) and *Confessions of a Shopaholic* (2009). He has also worked in television, including as producer on *Succession* (2018).

Bozman won the Academy Award for Best Picture for *The Silence of the Lambs*.
