Ron Hughart (also credited as Ron Hugart) is an American animator, director and storyboard artist. He was born on 18 June 1961 in Los Angeles, California.

He began directing on *The Ren & Stimpy Show* in the early 1990s, where he also worked as layout supervisor and timing director. Hughart directed ten episodes of *Futurama* between 1999 and 2003, and is credited as a writer on the series. He later served as supervising director and co-supervising director on *American Dad!* from 2005 onwards, and has directed episodes of *My Life as a Teenage Robot* and the direct-to-video film *¡Mucha Lucha!: The Return of El Maléfico* (2005).

Hughart received two Emmy nominations for outstanding animated programme as supervising director on *American Dad!*.
