## Biography

Ron Leshem is an Israeli-American screenwriter, producer and author. Born in Tel Aviv in 1976, he began his career in journalism before moving into television, where he co-created the original Israeli series *Euphoria* (2012) with Daphna Levin.

He wrote the screenplay for the film *Beaufort* (2007), adapted from his Sapir Prize-winning novel, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best International Feature Film. Leshem has created or written series including *Valley of Tears* (2020) and *No Man's Land* (2020), and served as an executive producer and writer on the HBO adaptation of *Euphoria* (2019).
