Ron Masak (1936–2022) was an American actor. Born in Chicago, he began his screen career in 1960 with a role as the Harmonica Man in the *The Twilight Zone* episode 'The Purple Testament'. He appeared in numerous television series including *Bewitched*, *I Dream of Jeannie*, *The Mary Tyler Moore Show*, *Police Story* and *Webster*.

Masak was best known for playing Sheriff Mort Metzger in the final eight seasons of *Murder, She Wrote* (1988–1996). His film credits include *Ice Station Zebra* (1968), *Tora! Tora! Tora!* (1970) and *Harper Valley P.T.A.* (1978). He was also noted for extensive commercial work, including a long-running campaign for Vlasic pickles.
