## Biography

Ron Tutt (born Ronald Ellis Tutt) was an American drummer. He was the principal drummer for Elvis Presley’s TCB Band from 1969 until Presley’s death in 1977, performing on tours and recordings including *Elvis: That's the Way It Is* (1970), *Elvis on Tour* (1972) and *Elvis - Aloha from Hawaii* (1973). He later appeared as himself in archive footage in the 2026 documentary *EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert*.

Tutt also worked extensively as a session and touring musician with artists including Neil Diamond, the Carpenters, Roy Orbison and Jerry Garcia. Born in Dallas, Texas, he died in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2021.
