Rory Stewart Kinnear, also credited as Rory Kinnear, is a British writer. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 2011 film *We Need to Talk About Kevin* with Lynne Ramsay, adapting Lionel Shriver’s novel.

Kinnear has additional writing credits on *The Winter Ghosts* and *Mobius*. He contributed to the short film *Swimmer* (2012) as music supervisor and executive producer. He was previously married to director Lynne Ramsay.
