## Biography

Rosemary Lane, also credited as Rosemary Mullican, was an American actress and singer. She began her career as a vocalist with Fred Waring and His Pennsylvanians before moving into film in the late 1930s.

She appeared with sisters Lola Lane and Priscilla Lane in *Four Daughters* (1938) as Kay Lemp, and in the related films *Daughters Courageous* (1939), *Four Wives* (1939) and *Four Mothers* (1941). Other credits include *The Return of Doctor X* (1939). She also performed on Broadway, notably in the 1941 musical *Best Foot Forward*.

Lane was married to Hollywood makeup artist Bud Westmore from 1941 until their divorce in 1954.
