Roy Pointer (1923–2004) was a British cinematographer.

He worked as director of photography on the television series *The Sweeney* (1978), *Minder* (1979–1989) and *Van der Valk* (1977). His other credits include the films *The Girl from Starship Venus* (1975) and *Secret Rites* (1971), as well as episodes of *The Benny Hill Show* (1978–1979).

Pointer died in London, England.
