Rumle Hammerich, also known as Jens Peter Hammerich, is a Danish film and television director, screenwriter and producer. Born on 16 November 1954 in Copenhagen, he graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 1979. His early feature films include the children's film *Otto Is a Rhino* (1983).

Hammerich has directed episodes of the Danish series *Borgen* (2010) and season four of the Swedish-Danish series *The Bridge* (2015–2018). He is also known for directing and writing the feature film *Headhunter* (2009) and the mini-series *Young Andersen* (2005), which received an International Emmy Award. He has held executive roles at Danish broadcaster DR and Nordisk Film, where he serves as creative director.
