## Biography

Rupert Degas is a British-Australian actor and voice actor. Born in London on 17 August 1970, he is the son of screenwriter Brian Degas. He was educated at Hill House School in Knightsbridge and Emanuel School in Wandsworth.

Degas began his career in the 1980s with work in radio, film and television, later becoming known for extensive voice work in animation and audiobooks. His animation credits include multiple characters in the first season of *The Amazing World of Gumball* (2011), the title role in *Lucky Fred* (2011), and voices in *Bob the Builder* and *Planet 51* (2009). He provided the voice of the Demon in the 2013 film *Evil Dead*.
