## Biography

Rupert Walters is a British screenwriter and writer for film and television. His credits include the screenplay for *Restoration* (1995), directed by Michael Hoffman and adapted from the novel by Rose Tremain, and *Some Girls* (1988), also directed by Hoffman.

Walters wrote episodes for the BBC series *Spooks* (also known as *MI-5*), including episodes from series 3, 4 and 6. Other film writing credits include *True Blue* (1996) and *Privileged* (1982). He has also co-written the three-part series *Ambassadors* (2013) with James Wood.
