## Biography

Rupinder Gill is a Canadian writer and television producer. She previously worked as a publicist for Alliance Atlantis and BBC Canada. Her memoir *On the Outside Looking Indian* was published in 2011 and was shortlisted for the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour.

Gill has written for Canadian comedy programmes including *This Hour Has 22 Minutes*. She wrote six episodes of *Schitt's Creek* (2018–2019) and served as co-producer and later co-executive producer on the series. She has also written and produced for *The Sex Lives of College Girls*, *Ghosts*, *Rutherford Falls* and other series. Gill received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series as co-executive producer on *Schitt's Creek*.
