Russ Tamblyn is an American actor and dancer. Born in Los Angeles, California, he began his career as a child actor with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer after being discovered young.

He appeared in *Seven Brides for Seven Brothers* (1954) and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for *Peyton Place* (1957). Tamblyn is known for his role as Riff in *West Side Story* (1961).

His later credits include *Drive* (2011) as Doc and the television series *Twin Peaks* (1990) as Dr. Lawrence Jacoby.
