## Biography

Russell Bacon ACS is an Australian cinematographer. He has worked extensively in television drama, serving as director of photography on the series *Farscape* (2000–2003) and its miniseries sequel *Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars* (2004).

His other credits include the television film *My Brother Jack* (2001), for which he received the ACS Gold Tripod award and the Milli Award for Australian Cinematographer of the Year in 2002, as well as series such as *Big Sky* (1997–1999), *Packed to the Rafters* (2008–2013) and *Sea Patrol* (2007–2011). He is a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society, accredited in 2003.
