Ruta Gedmintas is a British actress. She was born on 23 August 1983 in Canterbury, Kent, and trained at the Drama Centre London under Reuven Adiv.

Her television credits include Elizabeth Blount in *The Tudors* (2007), Frankie in *Lip Service* (2010–2012), Dutch Velders in *The Strain* (2014–2017), and Serafina Pekkala in *His Dark Materials* (2019–2022). Film roles include Betty in *A Street Cat Named Bob* (2016) and the WWII Scientist in *The Gorge* (2025). She has also appeared in *The Borgias* (2011) and *Ripper Street* (2012).
