Ryan Eggold is an American actor. He was born on 10 August 1984 in Lakewood, California, and graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School in 2002 before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California's theatre department in 2006.

His television credits include recurring roles in *90210* (2008–11) as Ryan Matthews and *The Blacklist* (2013–17) as Tom Keen, as well as the lead role of Dr Max Goodwin in *New Amsterdam* (2018–23). On film he has appeared in *BlacKkKlansman* (2018) as Walter Breachway, *Fathers and Daughters* (2015), *Never Rarely Sometimes Always* (2020) and *The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them* (2014). Eggold also wrote, directed, produced and scored the feature *Literally, Right Before Aaron* (2017), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
