S.K. Lauren was an American screenwriter active in Hollywood from the early 1930s to the 1950s. Born Samuel K. Lauren on 1 February 1893 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he began his career writing for the stage before moving into film.

He received screen credits on numerous productions, including *Blonde Venus* (1932), *One Night of Love* (1934), *Crime and Punishment* (1935) and *A Damsel in Distress* (1937). Additional work encompassed adaptations and contributions to films such as *When Ladies Meet* (1941), *Ruthless* (1948) and *My Blue Heaven* (1950). Lauren also wrote Broadway plays including *Those We Love* (1930) and *Men Must Fight* (1932). He died on 4 December 1979 in Los Angeles, California.
