## Biography

Sabaah Folayan is an American filmmaker, director and writer. She is also credited as Sabaah Jordan. She studied at Marlborough School and graduated from Columbia University with a BA in biology in 2013.

Folayan made her directorial debut with the documentary *Whose Streets?* (2017), which she also wrote and produced; it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and covered the 2014 Ferguson protests. She directed the documentaries *Look at Me: XXXTentacion* (2022) and *Ratified* (2024). Her writing credits include the HBO comedy series *Betty* (2020).
