## Biography

Sally Nieper was a British costume designer. She was born in 1938 in Bakewell, Derbyshire, and worked extensively in British television from the 1960s onwards.

Her credits as costume designer include the BBC television film *Threads* (1984), for which she received a BAFTA nomination, as well as episodes of *Inside Out* (1985) and *Howards' Way* (1987). Earlier in her career she contributed to costume and wardrobe departments on series including *The Good Life* (1976–1977) and *Come Back Mrs. Noah* (1977–1978).

Nieper died on 12 June 2014.
