Sally Wingert is an American actress. She has been a member of the acting company at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis since 1985.

Her film credits include the role of Irate Customer's Wife in *Fargo* (1996), Darla Riordan in *The Straight Story* (1999), Kay Stollman in *North Country* (2005), Gertrude in *Wilson* (2017) and Payroll Lady in *Factotum* (2005). She has also appeared in *Untamed Heart* (1993) and provided a voice on the television series *Ally McBeal* (1997).

A Duluth native, Wingert has performed on Broadway and in London's West End, including in the play *La Bete*. She is married to Tim Danz.
