## Biography

Sam Ernst is an American television writer and producer. He frequently collaborates with writing partner Jim Dunn.

In 2010, Ernst and Dunn co-created the Syfy series *Haven*, based on Stephen King’s short story “The Colorado Kid”. Ernst has written episodes of *Marvel's Daredevil* (2018), *Carnival Row* (2023), *Crisis* (2014), *Hand of God* (2017) and *The Dead Zone* (2007). Earlier credits include the 2004 film *Myron's Movie*.
