Sam Montgomery is a writer and producer. He contributed to the television series *24* as a writer and story writer on four episodes across seasons four and five, and as a producer on thirteen episodes of season five in 2006.

His film writing credits include the screenplay for *U-571* (2000), co-written with Jonathan Mostow and David Ayer, and the screenplay for *Breakdown* (1997), co-written with Mostow. He has also written episodes of *Unforgettable* and served as consulting producer on that series.
