## Biography

Sam Neave is a British-American filmmaker who works as a writer, editor, producer and director. He is credited as writer, additional editor and producer on the HBO documentary series *The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst* (2015–2024).

Neave wrote and directed the features *Cry Funny Happy* (2003), which premiered at Sundance, *First Person Singular* (2009) and *Almost in Love* (2011). He received three Primetime Emmy nominations for his work on *The Jinx – Part Two*, including for writing and producing.
