Sam Sklaver is an American television writer and producer. He began his career as an assistant to the writers on the HBO series *Bored to Death* (2009–2011), later serving as staff writer and executive story editor, and writing two episodes.

Sklaver co-created the Fox series *Prodigal Son* (2019–2021) with Chris Fedak, on which he also served as executive producer and showrunner and wrote several episodes. His other writing credits include episodes of *Whitney* (2011), *Ben and Kate* (2012), *Married* (2014), *Newsreaders* (2014–2015), *Childrens Hospital* (2015), *Blunt Talk* (2015–2016), *American Housewife* (2016) and *Deception* (2018). He has also worked as a producer on several of these series.
