## Biography

Sam Upton is a British videotape editor. He worked on the Doctor Who television stories Doctor Who and the Silurians (1970), The Mind of Evil (1971, with Roger Harvey) and Meglos (1980), as well as the 1977 documentary Whose Doctor Who. He also edited episodes of Survivors (1975) and served as series videotape editor on Blake's 7 (1978–1981).

In 1980 Upton won a BAFTA Television Craft Award for Best VTR Editor, for his work on Crime and Punishment and Suez 1956.
