He is known for playing Aidan Waite in the series *Being Human* (2011–2014), Davis Bloome in *Smallville* (2008–2009), and Lt. Crashdown in *Battlestar Galactica* (2004–2005). Witwer has also voiced Darth Maul in several *Star Wars* projects, including *Solo: A Star Wars Story* (2018), and appeared in films such as *The Mist* (2007).
