## Biography

Sammi Cannold is an American theater, film and television director. She made her episodic television debut directing the 2025 episode "Goodbye Horses" of *Grey's Anatomy*.

Her theater credits include the Broadway production of *How to Dance in Ohio* (2023), for which she received a Drama Desk Award, as well as *Endlings*, *Evita* and *Ragtime*. She has also directed opera and worked as an associate director on Broadway. Cannold holds a BA from Stanford University and an MA from Harvard University. She is developing a feature film with the Sundance Institute.
