Samuel Gilbert is an American actor and cinematographer. He was born in Los Angeles, California.

His acting credits include the role of Douglas in the television series *About a Boy* (2014), Young Schmidt in *New Girl* (2011), Romeo in *The Babysitter* (2017), Mel in *Time Toys* (2016) and the school bully in *Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant* (2015). He has also appeared in guest roles on *The Middle* (2009) and other series.

Gilbert works as a cinematographer on short films and is ARRI certified on ALEXA and AMIRA camera systems. He is a student member of the Society of Camera Operators.
