Sandra Hernandez is a costume designer. Her film credits include *Save the Last Dance* (2001), *He Got Game* (1998), *25th Hour* (2002), *The Secret Life of Bees* (2008), *Beyond the Lights* (2014) and *A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints* (2006). She has also worked on television series such as *Queen Sugar*.

She graduated with a degree in communications and began her career with an internship at Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks. She served as assistant to costume designer Ruth Carter before heading the costume department for several Lee productions. Hernandez has collaborated repeatedly with director Gina Prince-Bythewood.
