## Biography

Sandy Climan, also credited as Sanford R. Climan, is an American film producer. Born in The Bronx, New York, he attended Harvard College, Harvard Business School and the Harvard School of Public Health.

He began his career in executive roles at MGM and later held senior positions at Creative Artists Agency and Universal Studios. Climan founded Entertainment Media Ventures in 1999 and has worked as a producer and executive producer on several films and television projects.

He produced Martin Scorsese's *The Aviator* (2004), which received a BAFTA Award for Best Film and a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture – Drama. He was also executive producer on *U2 3D* (2007) and *Manhattan Night* (2016).
