## Biography

Sanjay Shah is a television writer and producer. He began his writing career on the animated series *King of the Hill*, serving as staff writer and story editor from 2007 to 2010.

His subsequent credits include writing episodes of *Cougar Town* (2009–2012), *Enlisted* (2014), *Fresh Off the Boat* (2015–2017), *Central Park* (2020) and *Blindspotting* (2023). He has also worked as a producer on several of these series. Shah created and served as showrunner and executive producer on the animated series *Everybody Still Hates Chris* (2024). He previously worked as a consultant on *South Park* (2009) and has sold pilots to multiple networks.

Raised in the Bay Area, Shah started as a stand-up comedian before entering television writing. In 2017 he signed an overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television.
