## Biography

Sara Mitich is a Canadian actor. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, on 26 November 1990, she trained at the National Ballet School of Canada before completing a joint actor-training programme between the University of Toronto and Sheridan College.

She is known for the role of Gia in the first season of *The Expanse* (2015–2016). Other television credits include recurring appearances as Lillian Moss in *Murdoch Mysteries* (2014–2015) and roles as Airiam and Lieutenant Nilsson in *Star Trek: Discovery* (2017–2022). Film work includes *Anon* (2018) and *Control* (2022).

Mitich received several nominations and awards for her performance in the 2017 drama *Ashes*. She is fluent in English and Serbian.
