Sara Parriott is an American screenwriter and producer who has worked in long-term partnership with Josann McGibbon. Their credits include the films *The Favor* (1994), *3 Men and a Little Lady* (1990) and *Runaway Bride* (1999), as well as episodes of the television series *Desperate Housewives* (2004) and *The Starter Wife* (2007).

Parriott and McGibbon wrote and executive-produced the Disney Channel film *Descendants* (2015) and its sequels. They received Primetime Emmy nominations in 2007 and a Writers Guild of America Award in 2016 for *Descendants*.
