Sarah Alexander (born Sarah Smith, 3 January 1971) is an English actress. She is known for her role as Susan Walker in the BBC sitcom *Coupling* (2000–2004) and as Polly Creek in *Jonathan Creek* (2013–2016).

Alexander has appeared in other British television series including *Smack the Pony* (1999–2003), *Green Wing* (2004–2007), *The Worst Week of My Life* (2004–2006) and *Marley's Ghosts* (2015–2016). Her film credits include *Stardust* (2007). She trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and began performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
