Sarah Dunn is an American television writer and author. She wrote episodes of the series *Murphy Brown* in 1996 and contributed to *Spin City* (1996–2000), *Veronica's Closet* (1997–1998) and *Bunheads* (2012). She created and served as executive producer on the ABC sitcom *American Housewife* (2016–2021).

Dunn graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Her novels include *The Big Love* (2005), *Secrets to Happiness* (2009) and *The Arrangement* (2017). She is married to Peter Stevenson.
