Sarah Hellings (born 15 December 1945) is a British television director. She began her career at the BBC as a film editor and later directed documentaries for the children's programme *Blue Peter*, including episodes of *Blue Peter Special Assignment*.

She left the BBC to work freelance, directing episodes of series such as *Juliet Bravo*, *Grange Hill* and *Howards' Way*. In 1985 she directed the *Doctor Who* serial *The Mark of the Rani*, and she was the last woman to direct an episode of the classic series. Her later credits include multiple episodes of *Midsomer Murders* (2002–2008), *The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes* and *Lovejoy*.
