Saundra Santiago is an American actress. Born on 13 April 1957 in the Bronx, New York, she is the daughter of a Cuban father and a Puerto Rican mother. She studied psychology at the University of Miami before earning a Master of Fine Arts in theatre from Southern Methodist University.

She is best known for her role as Detective Gina Calabrese in the NBC series *Miami Vice* (1984–1990). Santiago has also played Carmen Santos in the CBS soap opera *Guiding Light* and appeared in recurring roles as Jeannie and Joan Cusamano in *The Sopranos* (1999–2007). Her other television credits include *One Life to Live*, *Law & Order* and *Person of Interest*.

On stage, she has performed on Broadway in *A View from the Bridge* and *Nine*, and in other productions including *Chronicle of a Death Foretold*.
