## Biography

Saura Lightfoot-Leon is a Dutch-born English-Spanish actress. Born on 24 April 1998 in Leiden, Netherlands, she grew up in The Hague. Her parents, Paul Lightfoot and Sol León, are dancers and choreographers. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2020 with a BA in Acting.

Her feature film debut was as Maria in *Hoard* (2023), for which she received two British Independent Film Award nominations and a Special Jury Mention at the Venice International Film Festival. Television credits include *Life After Life* (2022), *Masters of the Air* (2024) as Louise, *The Agency* (2024–) as Daniela Ruiz Morata, and *American Primeval* (2025) as Abish Pratt.

She was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2024 and a Variety Brit to Watch in 2025.
