## Biography

Scarlett Lacey is a producer and writer of film and television. She began her career as associate producer on the 2001 Paramount film *Save the Last Dance*.

Her writing credits include episodes of *The Royals* (2015–2018) and *Magnum P.I.* (2018–2020), as well as the television films *Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance* (2018), *Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace* (2021) and several V.C. Andrews adaptations such as *My Sweet Audrina* (2016) and *Heaven* (2019). As a producer she has worked on *Magnum P.I.* and served as executive producer on the Netflix series *The Empress* (2022).

Lacey is an Emmy winner and was appointed Creative Consultant for Netflix covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2020.
