## Biography

Scott Aukerman is an American comedian, writer, producer, director and actor. Born on 2 July 1970 in Savannah, Georgia, he began his career writing for the sketch series *Mr. Show with Bob and David*.

He co-created the web interview series *Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis* and directed and co-wrote the 2019 feature film *Between Two Ferns: The Movie*. Aukerman hosts the long-running podcast *Comedy Bang! Bang!* and co-founded the Earwolf podcast network.

As an actor he has appeared in *Austin Powers in Goldmember* (2002) and episodes of *Curb Your Enthusiasm* and *Brooklyn Nine-Nine*. He is married to comedian and actress Kulap Vilaysack.
