## Biography

Scott Bassett is a British producer and writer. He has worked extensively in television drama, including as producer on the BBC single dramas *Murdered for Being Different* (2017), *Against the Law* (2017) and *Mother's Day* (2018), as well as episodes of the Netflix series *Top Boy* (2019).

He produced the ITVX series *Tell Me Everything* (2022) and the Sky Atlantic historical drama *Mary & George* (2024). His forthcoming credits include the Sky Studios series *Under Salt Marsh* (2026). Bassett is a BAFTA and RTS award winner and was named on the BBC New Talent Hot List in 2017. He received two BAFTA nominations for Best Single Drama in 2018.
