Scott Chernoff is a television writer and performer. He wrote episodes of *BoJack Horseman* (2015–2016) and *School of Rock* (2016–2018), and served as a writer on *Conan* (2010–2013). He has voiced characters including Gear Head on *Rick and Morty* (2014–2023).

He began his career writing for newspapers and magazines, and spent a decade as head writer and managing editor of the official *Star Wars* magazine *Star Wars Insider*. He is the author of the book *The Stars of Star Wars* (2002).

Chernoff is a Writers Guild of America nominee.
