## Biography

Scott D. Peterson is an American writer, author and producer. He began his career in visual effects before moving into animation writing, with early credits on series including *The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries* (1995) and *My Life as a Teenage Robot* (2002), where he served as story editor.

He has worked extensively as a writer and story editor on Disney and Nickelodeon animated series. On *Phineas and Ferb* (2007–), he contributed as writer, story editor and co-producer. He was executive producer and showrunner of the Netflix series *The Last Kids on Earth* (2019–2021), for which he received an Emmy Award.

Peterson has written numerous children’s books, including the *Shipwreckers* middle-grade series and multiple *Phineas and Ferb* tie-in titles. He has received additional Emmy nominations for his work on *Phineas and Ferb*, *Milo Murphy's Law* and *My Life as a Teenage Robot*.
