## Biography

Scott Hill is an American film editor. He trained at the University of Southern California film school and began his career as a negative cutter at Technicolor before moving into editorial as an assistant editor on the television series Law & Order.

He worked for eight years as first assistant editor to Don Zimmerman on films including *The Nutty Professor* (1996), *Liar Liar* (1997) and *Patch Adams* (1998). Hill's first credit as editor came on *Bruce Almighty* (2003), directed by Tom Shadyac. He has since edited numerous comedies, including *Evan Almighty* (2007), *Accepted* (2006), *Monster-in-Law* (2005), *Zookeeper* (2011), *Here Comes the Boom* (2012) and *Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2* (2015). He is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
