## Biography

Scott Macaulay is an American film producer based in New York. He co-founded the production company Forensic Films with Robin O’Hara in 1995 and has produced or executive-produced numerous independent features.

His credits include *Gummo* (1997), *julien donkey-boy* (1999), *Raising Victor Vargas* (2002), *Saving Face* (2004), *Idlewild* (2006), *Casting JonBenet* (2017), *A Woman, A Part* (2017) and *The Assistant* (2019). He is co-founder and was Editor-in-Chief of *Filmmaker* magazine for 33 years, and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
