Scott Peters is a Canadian-American television director and writer. He graduated from the University of Windsor with a BA in Communication Studies in 1988 and later received a master's degree from Loyola Marymount University.

Peters created and wrote for the series *The 4400* (2004–2007). He has directed episodes of numerous television series, including *Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles* (2008), *Burn Notice* (2009–2013), *Reign* (2013), *Colony* (2016), *The Gifted* (2017–2019), *Marvel's Runaways* (2018), *Batwoman* (2019) and *True Lies* (2023). He has received two Primetime Emmy nominations.
