## Biography

Scott Silveri is an American television writer and producer. He worked on the NBC sitcom *Friends* from 1996 to 2004, contributing as a writer, story editor, executive story editor and in various producer roles up to executive producer.

He co-created the *Friends* spin-off *Joey* (2004–2006) with Shana Goldberg-Meehan, whom he married in 2006 after meeting at the Harvard Lampoon. Silveri created the series *Go On* (2012) and *Speechless* (2016), and co-created *Perfect Couples* (2010) with Jon Pollack. He also wrote for *Mad About You*.
