## Biography

Scott Stephens is an American television producer. He served as producer and later supervising producer on the HBO series *Deadwood* (2004–2006), and as executive producer on *True Detective* (2014–2019) and *Deadwood: The Movie* (2019). He has also held producing or executive producing roles on *Hung* (2009–2011), *Enlightened* (2011), *Westworld* (2016) and *Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty* (2022).

Stephens began his career in production management, working as unit production manager (credited as S.A. Stephens) on early episodes of *Deadwood* and other series. He has received Emmy nominations for his work on *Deadwood*.
