## Biography

Scott Stevenson is an American film editor. A graduate of the UCLA Film and Television School, he began working as an assistant editor on US productions in the mid-1980s before receiving his first solo editing credit on the 1989 film *Cyborg*.

He is best known for co-editing Mathieu Kassovitz’s *La Haine* (1995) with the director. Stevenson has edited both narrative features and documentaries, including *LA 92* (2017), for which he received an Eddie Award nomination from the American Cinema Editors. He is a member of that organisation and works between Paris and Los Angeles.
